鲨 shā 名词 1. (鲨鱼)A large fish in the ocean, there are many species. Some species have a hole on their heads that sprays water. They are fierce in nature and prey on other fish. The fins are called fish fins, and the liver can be used to produce fish liver oil. Also written as "沙鱼" (sand fish); also known as "鲛" (jiāo). 2. (吹沙鱼)Known as "siluroid," it is a small fish that lives in streams and brooks. Also referred to as "鲨鮀" (shā tuó) or "鮀" (tuó). Example: 如:鲨浔 (the seaside where siluroids swim) 3. (鲨鱼)Also known as "鲛" (jiāo). It includes approximately 225 species of carnivorous elasmobranch fishes, primarily inhabiting tropical and subtropical oceans. They have a spindle-shaped body and an asymmetric tail, with tough skin that is usually gray and covered with numerous rough bumps. The snout protrudes in front of the mouth, and there are gill openings on both sides. Male sharks have modified fins and elongated pelvic fins.
