泸 Lú
1. Water name: a. Refers to the section of the Jinsha River above Yibin City in Sichuan Province, China, located at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces; b. Another name for the Nu River.
2. (瀘)
Ancient water name. The Lú River, also known as the Lujiang River, refers to a section of the Jinsha River at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces, particularly at Yibin.

2. Ancient prefecture name (Lu Prefecture). Established during the Southern Dynasties Liang Dynasty Daitong period. The administrative center was Jiangyang (present-day Luzhou City, Sichuan Province). Abolished in 1913 and changed to a county. In 1950, Luzhou County established a city in the urban area.
